Abstract

The strangeness of the novel by (Nazila) Yassin Khalani
The individual feels unable to influence the social situations around him and himself when he loses his hidden
human feelings and needs, and has a sense of separation from cultural and social relations. Strangeness is a state
in which a person feels unable to change the conditions of his life, he is a social creature, and alienation is the
result of social structures that destroy human beings and remove their human content. Alienation has dominated
literature, modern art and the history of social thought, the distinctive characteristics of the strange personality
is that it feels lonely and isolated, which is a dangerous feature within society, and has exerted a lot of pressure
on the individual and his isolation from society, mostly due to the reasons for the development of technology
and the rise of capitalism, and therefore its impact was clear, especially on the youth class. Alienation is a strange
phenomenon painted on their faces, attracting the attention of researchers in the fields of economics, sociology,
religion, psychology, politics, societal awareness, science, philosophy, education and literature. The nature of
the research required that it be organized in two parts: the first part dealt with the concept of alienation and the
problem of the concept theoretically. The second part dealt with the practical aspect.
