This study aimed to identify the attitudes of the Kurdish society towards the leadership work of women in government institutions in the Kurdistan Region; Through a sample of female leaders, as they are the best representatives of themselves in describing their situation and the view of the family and society towards them. The study also sought to identify the obstacles faced by women leaders. The study relied on collecting data on an interview with women in leadership positions in government institutions. The study sample consisted of (50) women leaders.
The study concluded that the Kurdish society is characterized by a positive view of women in general, and the prevailing trend with regard to women's leadership work is the positive trend, although it cannot be denied that there are negative influences alien to the Kurdish community from other "neighboring" eastern cultures, as there are models for women leaders in The Kurdish cultural heritage is not a new issue, but rather these models were and still exist by Kurdish women.
