This research, titled (The Role of Metadiscourse in Scientific Educational Texts), is an attempt to identify and present the types and features of metadiscourse. This study hypothesizes that metadiscourse has an effect on conveying the message of education and learning within the framework of text construction (textuality) and creates an influence and interaction with the learner, especially within the content of the book (Science for All). Titles, images, or terminology become metadiscourse when they provide further explanation and interpretation for the learner within the framework of a specific scientific text. The scope of the research is limited to scientific subjects, specifically the (Science for All) textbook for the ninth grade (basic level). It relies on the (descriptive-analytical) method to explain metadiscourse in scientific educational texts.
